Gisteren heerlijk naar de Art Specially beurs geweest en daar papier gekocht bij Doe@Ding van Crate Paper, Pink Plum en Brook. Zo mooi met die glimmer erin, kijk maar in het detail shot.

Erg leuk om te doen, en zeker niet de laatste!
En de feestvierende Henry voldoet aan het thema van Creative Card Crew, Celebrations.

Whiff Of Joy Challenge

Weer eens een challenge kaartje. Met mijn favoriete stempelmerk van dit moment, Whiff of Joy. De sketch is van Katharina, de eigenaresse van Whiff of Joy.

Eindelijk weer inspiratie

Na een maand op vakantie te zijn geweest in oktober was de inspiratie eigenlijk een beetje weg. En lagen ook zo veel andere dingen!
Maar gelukkig, de inspiratie is nu weer terug.
En daarom deze 2 kaartjes.













Naar aanleiding van een schets van de Whiff of Joy challenge deze kaart gemaakt met het nieuwe stempeltje van Whiff of Joy - zo schattig!














En naar het idee van een sketch van Katharina deze kaart gemaakt, met als idee om er een stukje Paper Piecing in te verwerken om aan de challenge van A Spoon Full of Sugar te voldoen. Het gekleurde papier is gemaakt met ecoline en zeezout.

After a month of vacation in October the inspiration was mostly gone. There were also so many other things needing to be done!
But fortunately, the inspiration is back now.
And therefore 2 cards.

The first one is made after a sketch of the Whiff of Joy challenge with the new stamp from Whiff of Joy - so cute!
And the second after a sketch of Katharina , with the idea to fit in a little bit of paper piecing to meet the challenge of A Spoon Full of Sugar. The coloured paper is made with ecoline and rock salt.

Trio of papers

Deze week is the challenge bij Sarah Kay Challenge om een kaart te maken met 3 dessinpapiertjes.
Om toch te proberen eens wat sheets op te maken heb ik verder gewerkt met de restjes papier van de 2 kaarten hieronder.

Daarnaast nog 2 kaartjes met Whiff of Joy stempels. WEER hetzelfde plaatje, maar ik had een hele stapel gekleurd een aantal weken terug toen ik maar 1 stempel binnen handbereik had. Voorlopig de laatste denk ik :-)

This week is the challenge with the Sarah Kay Challenge to make a card with 2 designer papers.
To try and finish off some sheets Ive used up the scraps of the papers that I used for the 2 cards in the post under this one.

Ive also made 2 cards with Whiff of Joy stamps. AGAIN the same stamp, but I coloured a whole stack of them a while back when I only had 1 stamp to work with. For the time being these are the last ones.

Zomaar

Gisteren sinds lange tijd zomaar een kaartje gemaakt, zonder sketch en zonder uitdaging.
Lekker tijdens wat afleveringen van Flying Doctors op DVD :-)
Het 2e kaartje is wel geinspireerd door een kaart van Inge qua layout (ere wie ere toekomt :-))

Sketch Saturday

Jo van Sketch Saturday is op zoek naar DT leden en ik heb besloten een gokje te wagen.
Opdracht is om 2 kaarten met haar schets te maken, waarvan 1 in kerst thema.

Het eerste kaartje is gemaakt met een restje Ecoline papier wat ik nog had liggen.
Daarnaast wat papier door de Cuttlebug gehaald, wat baubles en glitter als accent.
Magnoliaatje ingekleurd met distress ink.

Het tweede kaartje ben ik wat minder tevreden over, want had niets met een kerst tekst en ook maar 1 kerststempel waardoor het improviseren was om alle elementen erop te krijgen.
Let dus niet op mijn lelijke handschrift :-)

Jo of Sketch Saturday is looking for DT members and Ive decided to have a go at it.
The assignment is to make 2 cards with the sketch, 1 with the christmas theme.

The first card is made with a bit of ecoline paper that I still had laying around.
Furthermore I used some cuttlebugged paper and some baubles and glitter as accents.
The Magnolia is coloured with distress ink.

The second card Im less satisfied about, because I didnt have any christmas texts and also only 1 christmas stamp which was a little too big and which is why I had to improvise to get the elements to fit. So please dont notice my ugly handwriting :-)

Andere kleuren

Deze keer weer wat andere kleuren gebruikt.
Groen met bruin, dat is voor mij een wat ongewone combinatie.
Deze kaart is n.a.v. een sketch van de Mojo Monday challenge en het onderwerp is gekozen voor de DutchDare Card Challenge (dieren). De groene achterkant is met fibre omwikkeld. Ingekleurd met distress en dye inkt.

De volgende is voor de PaperTakeWeekly challenge waar Katharina een sketch voor heeft gemaakt. En aangezien zij ook de eigenaresse van Whiff of Joy stempels is leek het me wel toepasselijk om daar een stempel van te gebruiken :-)

This time Ive used different colours.
Green and brown are colours I dont normally use.
The first card is a sketch of the Mojo Monday challenge and the subject is picked for the DutchDare Card Challenge (animals). The green background is wrapped with fibre. Coloured with distress and dye ink.

The next is for the PaperTakeWeekly challenge where Katharina has made a nice sketch for. As she is also the owner of Whiff of Joy stamps, it seemed appropriate to use one of her stamps :-)

Terug van weggeweest...ahum

Na hevig opruimen is mijn hobbykamer weer enigszins begaanbaar.
Dus tijd om weer wat te doen.

Als eerste begonnen met een kaartje voor een ketting- een vlinderketting.

After a lot of cleaning in my craft room I'm finally able to reach it again!
So time to do something.

First started with a card for a challenge - a butterfly chain. Thank you Jose for scanning the card!

And 2nd a card made with stamps from a new brand:

Very nice stamps and I received them within 2 days!
The picture is very badly taken but I promise a better one soon.
