Eindelijk weer inspiratie

Na een maand op vakantie te zijn geweest in oktober was de inspiratie eigenlijk een beetje weg. En lagen ook zo veel andere dingen!
Maar gelukkig, de inspiratie is nu weer terug.
En daarom deze 2 kaartjes.













Naar aanleiding van een schets van de Whiff of Joy challenge deze kaart gemaakt met het nieuwe stempeltje van Whiff of Joy - zo schattig!














En naar het idee van een sketch van Katharina deze kaart gemaakt, met als idee om er een stukje Paper Piecing in te verwerken om aan de challenge van A Spoon Full of Sugar te voldoen. Het gekleurde papier is gemaakt met ecoline en zeezout.

After a month of vacation in October the inspiration was mostly gone. There were also so many other things needing to be done!
But fortunately, the inspiration is back now.
And therefore 2 cards.

The first one is made after a sketch of the Whiff of Joy challenge with the new stamp from Whiff of Joy - so cute!
And the second after a sketch of Katharina , with the idea to fit in a little bit of paper piecing to meet the challenge of A Spoon Full of Sugar. The coloured paper is made with ecoline and rock salt.

Sketch Saturday

Jo van Sketch Saturday is op zoek naar DT leden en ik heb besloten een gokje te wagen.
Opdracht is om 2 kaarten met haar schets te maken, waarvan 1 in kerst thema.

Het eerste kaartje is gemaakt met een restje Ecoline papier wat ik nog had liggen.
Daarnaast wat papier door de Cuttlebug gehaald, wat baubles en glitter als accent.
Magnoliaatje ingekleurd met distress ink.

Het tweede kaartje ben ik wat minder tevreden over, want had niets met een kerst tekst en ook maar 1 kerststempel waardoor het improviseren was om alle elementen erop te krijgen.
Let dus niet op mijn lelijke handschrift :-)

Jo of Sketch Saturday is looking for DT members and Ive decided to have a go at it.
The assignment is to make 2 cards with the sketch, 1 with the christmas theme.

The first card is made with a bit of ecoline paper that I still had laying around.
Furthermore I used some cuttlebugged paper and some baubles and glitter as accents.
The Magnolia is coloured with distress ink.

The second card Im less satisfied about, because I didnt have any christmas texts and also only 1 christmas stamp which was a little too big and which is why I had to improvise to get the elements to fit. So please dont notice my ugly handwriting :-)

Ecoline

Gister wat ecoline achtergrondjes gemaakt om te proberen en vandaag 2 kaartjes mee gemaakt.
Hier zijn ze.

Yesterday I made ecoline backgrounds and today I made 2 cards with them.
Here they are.

Challenges

Het paarse kaartje voldoet voor een aantal challenges:
Arty Girlz waarbij geen dessin papier gebruikt mag worden
Paper Take Weekly waarbij knoopjes gebruikt moesten worden
Cute Card Thursday waarbij het thema soft furnishings was (knoopjes, draad, etc)

Het roze/oranje kaartje heeft een achtergrond van ecoline met zeezout.
Dezelfde achtergrond gebruikt voor het oranje/blauwe kaartje voor de kleine oranje strip,
maar die is ook nog door de cuttlebug geweest.

The purple card is used for 3 challenges:
Arty Girlz where its not allowed to use patterned paper
Paper Take Weekly where you have to use buttons
Cute Card Thursday where the theme was soft furnishings (buttons, thread, etc)

The pink/orange card has a background made with ecoline and sea salt.
Used the same background for the orange/blue card, but the strip was pulled through the cuttlebug as well.

Challenges time!

Weer een aantal kaartjes gemaakt. Ik heb de smaak te pakken nu ik vrij heb :-)
Wederom ecoline achtergrondjes.

De 1e is voor de Splitcoast Limited Supplies Challenge. De bedoeling is een kaart zonder wit te maken. De achtergrond is trouwens licht paars/lila, mochten jullie denken dat ik gesmokkeld heb! :-)

En dan nog 2 met stempels van Third Coast. Ice Queen en Skating Fairy.

I've made a few cards again. Really got the taste of cardmaking again, now that I've got time off! :-)
Again ecoline backgrounds.

The 1st is for the Splitcoast Limited Supplies Challenge. The challenge is to make a card without white. The background is very pale lilac by the way, in case you think I cheated! :-)

And 2 more with the stamps of Third Coast. Ice Queen and Skating Fairy.

En nog eentje dan...

Nog eentje met ecoline en bleek.
Helaas kloppen de kleuren van de ecoline niet -er zit geen paars in maar het is meer blauw/groen. Stempels zijn van Third Coast.
Ontwerp is van Beate maar dan gedraaid en wat verkleind.

Another one with ecoline and bleach.
Unfortunately the colours of the ecoline arent right - theres no purple, just blue/green. Stamps are from Third Coast. Design is from Beate but then twisted and cropped.

Wederom met ecoline gespeeld, en daarna met bleek eroverheen.
De stempel is van Peddlers Pack, gekocht bij Art Journey.
Gemaakt nav een sketch challenge op Splitcoast.

En nog meer kaartjes...

Waarschijnlijk de laatste van dit jaar.
Morgen nog werken, en dan begint mijn vakantie.
Tijd dus in het nieuwe jaar voor meer kaartjes! (naast de verbouwing van ons huis)

Nog 1 spin&splash en de andere 2 hebben een achtergrond van ShadowPaint.
Hierop wordt zeezout gestrooid.
Het idee komt van de blog van StampingMathilda
Jammer genoeg kloppen de kleuren wederom van geen kanten - morgen in het daglicht maar eens proberen te fotograferen. Alhoewel, dat zal vanwege het werk wel overmorgen worden :-)

Tomorrow still working, and then my holiday starts.
Time in the new year for more cards! (besides the redoing of our house)

I've sprinkled rock salt over it.

Unfortunately the colours are completely wrong again - tomorrow in dayligt Ill photograph them again. Although, because of work its probably going to be the day after tomorrow.
