A Stitch in Time...

Het thema bij de PaperTakeWeekly challenge is "A Stitch in Time"
En het is nog net in time :-)
De stich in de onderste rand is ge-embossed met een cuttlebug folder die ingesmeerd is met StazOn.
Jammer genoeg is de kleur op de scallop niet helemaal de juiste, maar ach..

Unfortunately the colour in the scallop is not the right shade of blue, but oh well...

Sketch Saturday

Jo van Sketch Saturday is op zoek naar DT leden en ik heb besloten een gokje te wagen.
Opdracht is om 2 kaarten met haar schets te maken, waarvan 1 in kerst thema.

Het eerste kaartje is gemaakt met een restje Ecoline papier wat ik nog had liggen.
Daarnaast wat papier door de Cuttlebug gehaald, wat baubles en glitter als accent.
Magnoliaatje ingekleurd met distress ink.

Het tweede kaartje ben ik wat minder tevreden over, want had niets met een kerst tekst en ook maar 1 kerststempel waardoor het improviseren was om alle elementen erop te krijgen.
Let dus niet op mijn lelijke handschrift :-)

Jo of Sketch Saturday is looking for DT members and Ive decided to have a go at it.
The assignment is to make 2 cards with the sketch, 1 with the christmas theme.

The first card is made with a bit of ecoline paper that I still had laying around.
Furthermore I used some cuttlebugged paper and some baubles and glitter as accents.
The Magnolia is coloured with distress ink.

The second card Im less satisfied about, because I didnt have any christmas texts and also only 1 christmas stamp which was a little too big and which is why I had to improvise to get the elements to fit. So please dont notice my ugly handwriting :-)

Sarah Kay

Van de week had ik Sarah Kay stempels besteld omdat ze ZO leuk zijn en vandaag waren ze er!
Na mijn werk meteen uitgeprobeerd.
Dit is de kaart die ik ermee gemaakt heb.
Het past bij de Sarah Kay Challenge (charms) en de Saturday Sketch :-)

Cold as ice...

Het thema van Tilda&Co Challenge is Cold as Ice - een kaart in blauw en wit waar je het koud van krijgt. Ik weet niet of je het hier koud van krijgt, maar het is blauw en wit :-)

Friday Sketchers

Een kaartje naar aanleiding van de sketch van de Friday Sketchers.
Niet de meest makkelijke bleek voor mij, en ik heb hem ook licht aangepast. Hopelijk is dat wel ok. :-)

Andere kleuren

Deze keer weer wat andere kleuren gebruikt.
Groen met bruin, dat is voor mij een wat ongewone combinatie.
Deze kaart is n.a.v. een sketch van de Mojo Monday challenge en het onderwerp is gekozen voor de DutchDare Card Challenge (dieren). De groene achterkant is met fibre omwikkeld. Ingekleurd met distress en dye inkt.

De volgende is voor de PaperTakeWeekly challenge waar Katharina een sketch voor heeft gemaakt. En aangezien zij ook de eigenaresse van Whiff of Joy stempels is leek het me wel toepasselijk om daar een stempel van te gebruiken :-)

This time Ive used different colours.
Green and brown are colours I dont normally use.
The first card is a sketch of the Mojo Monday challenge and the subject is picked for the DutchDare Card Challenge (animals). The green background is wrapped with fibre. Coloured with distress and dye ink.

The next is for the PaperTakeWeekly challenge where Katharina has made a nice sketch for. As she is also the owner of Whiff of Joy stamps, it seemed appropriate to use one of her stamps :-)

Ecoline

Gister wat ecoline achtergrondjes gemaakt om te proberen en vandaag 2 kaartjes mee gemaakt.
Hier zijn ze.

Yesterday I made ecoline backgrounds and today I made 2 cards with them.
Here they are.

Challenges

Het paarse kaartje voldoet voor een aantal challenges:
Arty Girlz waarbij geen dessin papier gebruikt mag worden
Paper Take Weekly waarbij knoopjes gebruikt moesten worden
Cute Card Thursday waarbij het thema soft furnishings was (knoopjes, draad, etc)

Het roze/oranje kaartje heeft een achtergrond van ecoline met zeezout.
Dezelfde achtergrond gebruikt voor het oranje/blauwe kaartje voor de kleine oranje strip,
maar die is ook nog door de cuttlebug geweest.

The purple card is used for 3 challenges:
Arty Girlz where its not allowed to use patterned paper
Paper Take Weekly where you have to use buttons
Cute Card Thursday where the theme was soft furnishings (buttons, thread, etc)

The pink/orange card has a background made with ecoline and sea salt.
Used the same background for the orange/blue card, but the strip was pulled through the cuttlebug as well.

Terug van weggeweest...ahum

Na hevig opruimen is mijn hobbykamer weer enigszins begaanbaar.
Dus tijd om weer wat te doen.

Als eerste begonnen met een kaartje voor een ketting- een vlinderketting.
Met dank aan Jose voor het inscannen :-)

Dan als 2e een kaartje van een nieuw merk:
Whiff of Joy
Katharina, de eigenaresse, geeft ook blog candy weg!
Erg leuke stempels en ik had ze binnen 2 dagen in huis!
De foto is slecht maar ik beloof snel een betere :-)

After a lot of cleaning in my craft room I'm finally able to reach it again!
So time to do something.

First started with a card for a challenge - a butterfly chain. Thank you Jose for scanning the card!

And 2nd a card made with stamps from a new brand:
Whiff of Joy
Katharina, the owner, is also giving away blog candy !
Very nice stamps and I received them within 2 days!
The picture is very badly taken but I promise a better one soon.
